The beach path between Rue Bayou and Rue Belle Mer has seen some big changes! The storage bin and bike rack have been moved to create one golf cart parking space. The bank has been reinforced with rip rap (delivered by Raul) and planters with grasses and bromeliads have been added. (The bromeliads came from the new island at the intersection of Rue Bayou and Rue Belle Mer. Those plants love to spread!) It was a hot and labor intensive job that was undertaken by our dedicated CSM volunteers. MUCH thanks goes to: Tom Stafne, Carol Stafne, Scott Gwilliams, and Greg Spaulding. This old/new space is stronger, more user-friendly, and pretty!
